Practical Profits Las Vegas 2011

Last year I attended Practical Profits Las Vegas and did a recap post via The Las Vegas Tweetup you can see last years recap there.

I have been to a few Internet Marketing Live Seminars and there is always a “Pitch Fest” just enough information to make you feel like you just had to buy what was being sold, and that it will be the golden ticket to your internet fortune! Yeah that doesn’t happen at Practical Profits it is totally free of the “Pitch Fest” or I am so cool and so is my product and you want to be just like me so give me your credit card number….blah blah blah

We actually got digital gifts… from some of the speakers, so let’s get to my overview of the event.

First Batter up was Wil Mattos – The Formula for Success @WilsonMattos AKA “One of the Wonder Boys”

Next up Jason Fladlien aka “The Other Wonder Boy” his subject was “How to get 9x more stuff done before 9 am than most people do in 9 days.”

In his session he revealed to us

The “Mindset/Productivity” Myth
The “intelligent juggle” DYP model
The secret of “work flow”
and many other tips to peak your productivity

I could share more with you some of his points, but I think you would really benefit from reading his report entitled Double Your Productivity For Life.

Ok I won’t be to mean (but really you can benefit from his report):

Show up prepared
Eliminate interruptions as much as possible
Have an end goal to work toward

For one thing no man has ever grabbed me by the hand and lead me away making me run to keep up with him except my McDreamy Hubby which is a whole other story, I know I lost you there, but that’s a joke Tim and I have now… So let’s get to the great content Tim gave.

Rachel Rofe the one and only “Chick” in this boys club… @RachelRofe And when I say she can go toe to toe with these boys well let’s just say her and Tim went at it in the Shark Tank and well Girl Power sorry Tim just saying how it played out..

Her topic “The Out-Of-The-Box Tactics That Landed Me a Cover Story in Woman’s World, An Article In Entrepreneur, And A Feature On Fox News!

I’m only going to share some of what we learned:

If you ever get a chance to see her or hear her story I suggest you take it. It takes everything you have to not run up and hug her.

Then James Jones finished out the first day with “Get Massive Targeted Traffic without Depending on Darth Google” he shared with us Niche Markets he is making money in and where to get the absolute Best most targeted website traffic for cheap.

He also visually shared with us how to benefit from expired domains.

James also talked about getting traffic by guest posting on blogs and how to get tons of traffic from article marketing.

I know I am not going into detail but the idea is to make you want to attend a Practical Profits event in the future.

Sunday morning kicked off with John Rhodes, all I have to say is if you where hung over from the night before you missed out…

Then with his word pictures he painted us a visual on how one simple thing “a small mental shift” on the same things your already doing can be profitable .

Up next Keith Dougherty all around nice guy! Hey any Dad that shows up to work with his sweet little girl has my undivided attention.

Keith’s Topic “How To Quickly & Easily Create Cutting Edge Products Which make People Line Up and Hand Over Their Cash Like a Kid in a Candy Store!!! @KeithD17

He uses Mind Maps in his training, his favorite ones to use are xmind and freemind.

MM = Mind Maps = BluePrints

His Product Creation consists of 4 different methods. Keith wrapped up with these points:

Product Creation is Control
Survey Your List
Give Them What They want
Diversify Your Business
Take action – Move Forward

The only one I’d like to touch on is “Diversifying Your Business” Keith gave an example on how he had all his eggs in one basket a few years ago and basically had to watch as the one holding said basket broke, smashed, and threw all his eggs while he watched..

Brian Johnson was the last speaker before the “Shark Tank” also known as @BrianJohnsonIM on Twitter.. I could throw him under the bus right now with twitter but I’ll behave.

So back to the Twitter thing… I gave him a bit of a difficult time (don’t think for one minute he didn’t get a couple of digs in on me) afterwards he came back to ask me my name and of course as most people who know who the Beatles are, he starts saying “Eleanor Rigby”.. to me that song is so not a memory association for me. Sometimes I get a little bit audacious and full of myself (that might be why my 17 year old calls me crazy lady), I asked him if I could give him another way to remember me… Hence gone in “60 seconds” came up and the Shelby Mustang that shares my name.

This was a Fun weekend for me networking and meeting other attendees. Getting to see my crushes in real life. It is my recommendation to you if you get a chance to attend a Practical Profits event to take it. I can not emphasize the benefits, connections, networking, proof, and inspiration…..
