Another Wednesday, which means it is Wine Wednesday! Share your link to your wine blog or wine post.

Then leave a comment below, and get some CommentLuv on me. Tell us what is your favorite red wine, and if you have a Pinterest account leave that in the comment as a link.
Currently I have two brands that are my favorite red wines. Bonterra Merlot and Pinot Noir then Mirassou Pinot Noir are my favorites. Both I had the pleasure of partaking in the #TGTaste Twitter Tastings.
Bonterra’s cork is just a work of art! There is no other way to describe it. You can read more about the Bonterra #TGTaste in this post I wrote: Bonterra Wine #TGTaste November 2 Recap
We have learned that only organically grown grapes can express the purity and intensity of varietal character that a truly great wine requires. – Bonterra

When Bloggy Bootcamp came to Vegas, I was grateful to receive a invitation to Mirassou Private Wine Dinner with David Mirassou. Yes I know this post is about your favorite red, but if you don’t try Mirassou’s Moscato you are missing out!

Well, I’m not a wine expert and I don’t drink a lot but I use to love a wine made buy a small winery. It was called Raspberry Summer. Wonderful wine from Ohio. When I moved to New York I remember being told that they could not ship wine across state borders. I wonder if that is still true? Hmmm?

You should check, most wineries have wine clubs. Check and let us know.

Wow, thanks for prompting me to call. The winery is now called Wyandote Winery and they still make Raspberry Summer but they are not allowed to ship across state lines. They said they can pack it and I can have someone in Ohio pick it up and mail it to me. Even if I join their wine club they are not, by law, allowed to ship across state lines. But, I’m so glad I found out!

I say no picking!
I’m a French oenologist. So glad so much people in the US love wine, especialy women!
My favorite red wine ? Difficult question. Love so much different wines. Would say a wine with much caracter, expressing his “terroir”, his soil, his climat and the passion the winemaker put in it. It could be a French wine: Bordeaux, Saint-Emilion or Burgundy, as well as a wine from Tuscany (Italy) or Spain. Maybe Napa Valley, Argentina, Chile or Australia… I tasted so much wonderful wines from everywhere in the word. The most important to produce a great wine beyond the technical aspect, is the part of humanity you share in it.

:0) Thanks for stopping by.
You got my attention with the word “wine!” I’m a long time wine enthusiast and love visiting vineyards and wineries all over the great northwest. Napa is one of my favorite places to experience good food and great wine!
