As an Amazon Seller there are several things we don't take into account when we start selling. If you have been following my posts about my experience of selling on Amazon. There is always something new I am learning.
Example, business licenses, reseller certificate, sales tax. Then you find out that you may be owed money from Amazon, which this post is going to be all about.
So let's talk about why Amazon would owe you money, anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand. Then we will discuss your options on getting your hands on the cashola that will equal sourcing money.
Damaged Items That Were Destroyed
Damaged Items Still In Inventory
Inbound Shipment Errors
Policy is that if any of the above is Amazon's fault, then they will reimburse you automatically. They have a set amount of time to do so, but sometimes it doesn't happen.
Now what options do you have to get your hands on this cash? I know your fingers are itching to know the options.
You can pay one service I know of that several other sellers rave about, if you are cool with kissing $250 a month good-bye… I don't know about you, but I would rather take that $250 and potentionally double, or triple it.
There are things that Amazon Sellers just should know how to do for themselves.
If you are organized with a system you can keep on top of this yourself spending maybe 1 or 2 hours of your time at first to get it under control. Then once you have it in control I bet it won't take more then 1 hour of your time a month.
I have a great solution for you that will cost you all of $47 and for about 7 days with this coupon $37 … “moneyback” Then you can refer back to it all the time whenever you want to.
Introducing The Selling Family's new course
They have put together a video course to show you exactly how to get back that money we have discussed that Amazon may owe you.
Using the top 5 methods of getting reimbursements back (The 5 methods I listed above), they walk you step by step through the entire process.
You will see exactly which reports to run, how to reconcile them and even the email templates to use in your seller support cases!
Their time is valuable and they don’t believe in opening cases for bogus reasons. Or wasting seller supports time and effort, because their time is valuable. After all they are busy receiving our shipments and sending out our items to their customers.
If you are opening a case, it is because you should really be getting a reimbursement. Why are you still here? Go get your money from Amazon!
