Create AWeber Automation Rules
There are times when you may want to auto-subscribe customers to new lists and/or remove subscribers from a specific list. For example when a prospect buys and needs to be added to a customer list. Here I will show you how to use automation rules to do this.
You will need:
- An AWeber account
- A website
- 2 mailing lists set up
- Email messages added
- A signup form installed
Step 1: Navigate To Automation
From your home page, go to the “My Lists” tab and from the drop down, click on the “Automation” sub-tab.
Choose the list, in the top left, where you want to create the rule. In this case, it’s prospect-list1.
When a prospect joins the customer list, we will unsubscribe them from prospects-list1 and subscribe them to customer-list1. To do this, select the “unsubscribe from (title auto inserted) list when lead subscribes to.”
Then select “customer-list1” from the dropdown at the right.
Save automation rule.
Continue adding rules as needed.
