I always get that question when I tell people I sell on Amazon: “What do you mean you sell on Amazon?”
Truth be told sometimes it is a very uncomfortable experience for me when I tell someone what I do. Because some of them give me funny looks, or tell me about someone they know who sells on eBay… Then I kind of get that look of disapproval or complete utter confusion…
Better yet let me just tell you this, I just want to load my cart and pay for my Amazon stuff without people asking or doing the following:
Is that lotion?
Your kid touching / shopping for the toys in my cart..
Are those cookies, good?
Is that on sale?
Did you buy them all?
Lady staring at me with her hands on her hips while I take all the mascara…
I have more but you get the point… This happens to me inevitably ever time when I am shopping or telling someone what I do!
But I will tell you this, I will take the above-mentioned things every day of the week, because selling on Amazon has completely changed my life and can do so for many people.
Jessica Larrew also experiences these situations all the time so she wrote this post as a guide to what it actually means to be an Amazon FBA seller.
